I am not big on just looking at the statistical side of baseball. I believe their is a leadership factor that comes into play, and how well these catchers can control their pitchers. The catcher position is known for being a defensive first position, and I believe that 100%. Your defense and control of your pitchers is the most important thing as a catcher. I won't discredit great offensive catchers, and they will make this list, but might not be as high as you wanted. With all that being said here is my top ten for catchers.
