There are a couple games I suggest you to watch today, but if you can't at least follow some of these people on your phones. The Pirates new short stop Jung Ho Kang is in the starting line-up today, and he exciting to watch. He just came over from Korea, because word got around that he has some power. In his first spring training games he showed that power, and smacked a home run. If you don't know who Kang is I suggest looking him up, because he has one of the most unique swings in the game.
A lot of big name pitchers are on the bump today, such as, Max Scherzer, Johnny Cueto, Clayton Kershaw, and Yu Darvish. These might be the best pitchers out on the mound today, but none of them have the best pitching match ups. The best two pitching match ups today are Julio Teheran versus Alfredo Simon and Carlos Martinez versus Dan Haren. Simon flew under the radar last year as he posted his first 15 win season for the Reds. He is strong, big, and has great stuff. Teheran is now the ace pitcher for the Braves after he finished with 14 strong wins last year. Teheran definitely has the potential to be the number one in Atlanta and this year he will have a chance to prove it.
Carlos Martinez is the flame throwing little fire baller on the St. Louis Cardinals who is getting his first shot at winning the fifth starting spot in that rotation this year for the Cardinals. Martinez has a passionate attitude when he is on the mound, and can bring it up to triple digits on the radar. Dan Haren is interesting to watch, because he threatened to retire if he wasn't traded by the start of the season and that has not happened. He is a veteran that brings experience, leadership, and talent to this team, which is crucial that he stays in Miami.
