Josh Donaldson and the Toronto Blue Jays have just taken off after the All-Star break. They made the two biggest moves before the trade deadline. Adding an Ace like David Price will bring much needed help to a struggling Blue Jays Starting rotation. The Jays also acquired Troy Tulowistski the best short-stop in baseball when he is healthy. I believe the most important piece in the Blue Jays gauntlet of a line-up is the man right there Josh Donaldson. His numbers are ridiculous while he has hit 31 home runs, 85 RBI's, scored 84 runs, with a .293 average and .928 OPS. If Donaldson continues these numbers there will be no doubt that he will be winning the Most Valuable Player Award for the American League. The only one that stands in his way is Mike Trout and sorry to say I don't think even Trout can beat him.

The most significant improvement to the Blue Jays roster was the development of their new stud closer Roberto Osuna who is only 20 years old. He has dominated at closer with a 2.05 ERA, with 56 strike outs in just 52.2 innings pitched. He has recorded 12 saves as the closer and looks to be a force to be reckoned with. The Blue Jays also added veterans Latroy Hawkins, and Mark Loe who have plenty of life in those arms for a playoff run. I would be worried as Yankees fans, because the Blue Jays are going to win that division, and that offensive can make things interesting in the playoffs.
